9 x 12 watercolor inks on cold press paper.  This work is a study of color and contrast. Bright blue and violet blooms rise alongside sprays of yellow and soft pink roses, their petals unfolding against a shadowed backdrop. The watercolor medium brings a sense of movement and light, letting each flower feel luminous and fresh, yet anchored by the depth of the dark ground.
